Backup & Restore
Secure and recover your server data.
A backup is a full copy of your server files (world, configuration, plugins, and other data). Backups are essential before any big change such as changing the egg, updating the version, installing heavy mods, or upgrading the package.
Note
Backups are stored inside the server by default. For maximum protection, **download the backup** to your own device after creating it.
Create a Backup#

Open the Backups Tab#
Log in to the server panel, then select the Backups tab on the left sidebar.

Click Create Backup#
Press the Create Backup button.

Name It & Start#
Enter an easy-to-recognize name (e.g.,
before-update-1-20), then click Start Backup. Wait until it finishes.
Tip
Name backups with a date, such as `2026-01-01-before-mod`, so they are easy to find.
Restore a Backup#
Caution
Restoring will **overwrite the current files** with the backup contents. All changes made after the backup was created are lost. Make sure the server is **Stopped** before restoring.
- Stop the server from the Console page (the Stop button).
- Open the Backups tab.
- Find the backup you want to restore, click the three dots next to it.
- Choose Restore, then confirm. Wait until it finishes.
- Start the server again from the Console page.
Download & Upload Backups#
- Download: click the three dots on a backup → Download. Keep the file on your device.
- Upload: click Upload Backup, pick a backup file from your device, then wait until it finishes.
Delete Backups#
Old backups consume disk space. Remove unused ones via the three dots → Delete.
