Upload Bedrock World

Bring your own world to your bedrock server.

On this page

This guide explains how to upload and activate a custom world on a Bedrock server through the Arqonara Panel.

Note

It is recommended to create a backup before replacing the server's main world.

Overview#

World FormatMake sure the world is from Minecraft Bedrock, not the Java Edition version.
Back Up the Old WorldBack up your world before making changes to the server.

The world location on your device:

txt

/games/com.mojang/minecraftWorlds/

Rename the world folder to a simple name without spaces. Example: MyWorld

Steps#

Step 1: Upload the World to the Server#

  1. Log in to the Arqonara Panel.
  2. Open the Files menu.
  3. Go to the following folder:
txt

/home/container/worlds/
  1. Upload your world folder.
    • If it is in .zip format, upload it and extract it in the panel
    • Avoid the .rar format
  2. Make sure the world folder is directly inside the /worlds/ folder.

Step 2: Set the World Name on the Server#

Open the file:

txt

server.properties

Find the following section:

txt

level-name=MyWorld

Replace MyWorld with the name of the world folder you uploaded.

Note

The name must match exactly (case-sensitive). If it differs, the world will not be read.

Step 3: Restart the Server#

When done:

  • Click Save
  • Restart the server via the panel
  • Wait until the server has fully started

The new world is now active and ready to use.
