Reset World
Generate a fresh world for a Bedrock server.
Resetting the world deletes the current Bedrock world and generates a new one. All builds and player progress are lost.
Caution
This action is **permanent**. Create a **backup** first if you want to keep the old world. See [Backup & Restore](/en/guides/game-panel/backup-restore).
How to Reset the World#
-
Stop the Server#
Open Console, press Stop, wait until Offline.
-
Back Up (Highly Recommended)#
Open the Backups tab → Create Backup, name it
old-world, then run it. -
Delete the World Folder#
Bedrock stores worlds in the
worldsfolder.- Open the Files tab.
- Open the
worldsfolder. - Delete the world folder inside it (usually named after level-name, default
Bedrock level).
-
Start the Server#
Return to Console, press Start. The server generates a new world automatically.
Alternative: Rename#
If you want to keep the old world without deleting it, rename its folder to Bedrock level-backup, then create a new folder with the original name.
Verify#
Join the server and make sure you spawn in the new world. Check the console log to confirm the world was created without errors.
